Halo House Foundation
MISSION
Families facing a diagnosis of leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma experience serious medical, emotional and financial challenges. Their life or death struggles often require them to leave home, travel to major medical centers and stay away for months at a time to receive the specialized care they need to treat their cancer. Halo House Foundation mitigates a large portion of their out-of-town financial housing burden by providing fully furnished apartments near the Texas Medical Center for $20 per day and a Halo House Ambassador, who acts as their friendly point of contact.
